Schwinn 231 Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

I bought this bike to help rehab a ruptured quadriceps tendon. I was told that the constant bending of the knee would make the tendon and muscle fibers line up correctly again and speed the rehabilitation process.
After having it for a week, I have made amazing progress
This unit was relatively easy to assemble. I did it in about 2.5 hours.
The hardware is labeled extremely well and easy to identify. The instructions are about the most clear I have ever used.
The unit is extremely quiet. Great to watch TV and hear the sound easily while pedaling.
The readout shows speed, calories burned, watts generated, RPMs, distance, time.
The backlit display is very easy to read. There are preprogrammed routines or you can program it manually if desired.
It is very stable (I weigh about 200 lbs)
It doesn't take a lot of room and doesn't weigh a lot... about 106 lbs, and is easy to move around.
It is easy to adjust the pedaling distance to get a tighter angle on my knees if desired.
The seat could use a little more padding, though. It's a little hard.
The seat back, however, is very comfortable and provides great lumbar support.
It comes with a fan on top of the computer display, which I think is kind of useless unless you keep your exercise room really hot.
Assuming the unit lasts a while, this is a terrific value... wonderfully quiet, easy to assemble, easy to use.Get more detail about Schwinn 231 Recumbent Exercise Bike.
